Take a Look at the Latest Milwaukie Riverfront Park Design

On Jan. 29th citizens reviewed the latest design for Milwaukie Riverfront Park and had the opportunity to offer suggestions and ask those who have been developing the concept questions about its elements. 

Landscape Architect Gill Williams of David Evans and Associates has been working the project for more than six years and he's expected to put the finishing touches on the plan by the end of spring. Another Open House will be scheduled upon its completion so the community can see the final design. 

Once completed JoAnn Herrigel, Milwaukie's Manager of Community Services, will begin submitting grant applications from agencies such as the Oregon Marine Board and the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department to fund the park's construction.
