PILOT NEWSLETTER CALENDAR MISPRINT- Winter Solstice Event on Friday, Dec. 14

The December issue of the city's Newsletter, The Milwaukie Pilot, shows an incorrect listing for the Winter Solstice Event. To set the record straight, the event will take place on Friday, Dec. 14 at the Jefferson Street Boat Ramp. There will be the traditional bonfire, hot libations will be on sale by the Lewelling Neighborhood and the Portland Christmas Ship Parade will cruise by Milwaukie around 7 p.m. This year the Dickens Carolers will perform from 5 to 6 p.m. People are invited to gather around 5 p.m.
