Pond House Home of New ‘Booktique’

The Friends of The Ledding Library will host the Grand Opening of the Pond House Booktique on Monday, April 7th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Pond House Booktique is located at 2215 SE Harrison Street, directly behind the Ledding Library. Barbara-Lee Orloff, a member of The Friends, will manage the store.

The Booktique offers a wide selection of books for adults and children, videos, CDs, magazines, books-on-tape, records and sheet music – all at great prices! Most hard cover books are $2, trade paperbacks are a $1 and standard paperbacks are $.50.

The Friends are still working on figuring out regular hours of operation but everyone is encouraged to come out and take advantage of the Booktique’s Grand Opening.
All of the store’s proceeds will benefit The Friends organization, which helps fund a variety of Library programs.

Books and all of the materials described above can be donated to the Library. All donations are tax-deductible.
