City Launches Transportation Website

On March 6, 2008 the City launched its new Transportation website. This website serves as a central resource for information about:

• Current transportation projects;
• Commuting options; and
• Transportation policy & planning

The site provides an opportunity for people involved with the recently completed Transportation System Plan to continue to tune into transportation issues. Visitors to the site will find project descriptions and staff contacts for projects underway in Milwaukie and the region; as well as resources for pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users, and motorists. It will also feature a current news feed, where residents can find up-to-date information on public meetings and events related to transportation.

The site can be found on the City’s homepage in the Projects Underway box on the left side of the page. (www.ci.milwaukie.or.us)
