City Adopts Transportation Plan - Sets Priorities for Future

Capping a year-long effort that included the most public outreach ever conducted for a project of its kind, City Council adopted an updated Transportation System Plan (TSP) at its Dec. 4th meeting.

The adopted TSP represents a rigorous analysis of the City’s current transportation conditions, forecasts future needs, and matches those needs with prioritized projects for the next 20 years.

The effort included 30 public meetings to address the following transportation issues: pedestrian and bicycle connectivity, downtown parking, public transit, street design, freight, and traffic and networking.
