Adams Street Connector

The City is working with a design team to transform Adams Street between Main Street and 21st Ave in the South Downtown. The redesign effort is underway with assistance by Walker Macy Architecture and will continue through January 2015. The project is expected to go out for bid in February 2015.  Construction is scheduled to commence April 2015 and be completed by the end of June 2015. The Engineering Department acts as the steward of the public right of way by ensuring that all improvements in the right of way are built and maintained to city standards and meets all municipal code requirements.

Milwaukie Riverfront Park

Marking another major leap in realizing the long-term goal of reclaiming one of the most beautiful views of the Willamette River and building a park to draw people from around the region to enjoy it, construction of Phase II of Milwaukie Riverfront Park began in June 2014. A Grand Opening Ceremony was held on May 1, 2015.
