City's Streets Division launches Pothole Hotline

Given the City’s limited budget and staff and the size of the infrastructure, Milwaukie relies heavily on citizen involvement to help keep streets safe.

Backflow prevention videos posted to City's website

The American Water Works Association has produced two public videos that highlight the importance of proper selection and installation of backflow preventer and cross connection control devices. These short (about 5 minutes) videos are an excellent resource to educate utility staff, boards, decision makers and interested public about backflow and cross connection. The videos describe what it is, how it can happen and how it can be averted without a major cost to the community.
