Volunteers Matter

The City of Milwaukie recognizes National Volunteer Week, April 12-18, 2015 as it holds its annual Earth Day Event on Saturday, April 18th. Please join dozens of other volunteers that day to help cleanup and beautify downtown.

In addition, City Council, at the April 7th City Council meeting, will proclaim April 12-18, 2015 as National Volunteer Week in the City of Milwaukie as the City joins forces with the country's volunteer force of more than 63 million to volunteer during the week. Experience teaches us that government by itself cannot solve all of our nation's social problems so please join the City during National Volunteer Week and throughout the year as we work to make Milwaukie the best place it can be.
