Mission:
The Accounting Department was created to provide financial management of the city’s budget, cash control and annual financial reporting. The department assists the city by providing financial assistance to departments. The Department also administers the Special Assessments, Business Registration, Utility Billing, Payroll, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. The Department analyzes accounting transactions, accounts, balances, performs cash management functions and assists with the annual financial audit.
