Milwaukie’s Neighborhoods Program Milwaukie's Neighborhoods Program consists of 7 officially recognized Neighborhood District Associations (NDA) that include Ardenwald-Johnson Creek, Hector Campbell, Historic Milwaukie, Island Station, Lake Road, Lewelling, and Linwood. There are also two business industrial districts (North Industrial area and Milwaukie Business/Industrial) in the city, though they have not formally organized into associations and do not have bylaws. NDA Boundary Map The NDAs were created to improve communication between the city and its residents. This communication is managed and coordinated through the efforts of the Community Services Office. Each NDA meets monthly, has its own set of bylaws, and annually holds elections in May for a Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. To learn more about the roles and responsibilities of these positions refer to the bylaws of each neighborhood that are contained within their individual sites Bi-Monthly Leadership Meetings Officers from each of the city's 7 NDAs meet the last Wednesday of the month in January, March, May, July, and September in order to consistently communicate with one another about citywide issues and discuss mutual or opposing interests. Meetings are held at City Hall at 6:30pm. Leaders are asked to request particular agenda items and Community Services staff schedule guest speakers and include topics that are of interest to the community. To learn about the most recent topics of discussion refer to the meeting minutes located at NDA Leadership Meeting Minutes. Frequently asked questions?
